Family Visit and Halloween

Jimmy, Angela, Zoey and Bailey came to stay with us for a week.  It was such a treat to have them around.  It is amazing to see how quickly the girls are growing up.  We spent most of the time at the house trying to accommodate the nap times of two children.  This gave Angela and I much needed time to catch up  and enjoy our morning cups of coffee.  I really treasure those times with her.

October 30th: Tom, Bonnie, Richard, Liz, Jim, Angela, Zoey, Bailey, Cory, Ashley, Nick, Brylie, Bella and I were at our home to watch the Oregon/ USC game.  Lots of good food and fun times.

Brylie was a ladybug and her costume was enormous.  Good thing she didn't have to wear it that long.

 We were luck enough to have Pete and Layla come stay with us for a few days as well.  They arrived Halloween day, so Layla was able to join in on the trick or treating.  Such cute cousins.  Layla (Cleopatra), Brylie (ladybug), Zoey (Dorothy), and Bailey (pumpkin).  I loved seeing them all dressed up.

Our First Family Outing

We decided it would be fun to get out of the house and travel to go see family.  We loaded up Brylie and traveled to Pasadena to go to my grandmother's house.  It was great to spend time with family and friends.  Brylie did really well and enjoyed seeing so many fabulous faces.

As a mom I love watching family and friends interact with Brylie.  It really fills my heart with such warmth to know that she is so loved.

It took longer than we had expected for her umbilical cord to fall off.  We had been advised to just do sponge baths until her umbilical cord was completely healed.  October 3rd was the first time we were able to put her into her bathtub.  She seemed to really enjoy herself.

My aunt Lisa and cousin Chelsea were sweet enough to drive out to see us so they could meet little Brylie.  Chelsea was so cute with her.  It was fun to see them and have them meet our newest addition.
